Our Workshop

How We Got Started

Look, we're not gonna feed you some corporate line about being "passionate" or "dedicated" - though yeah, we definitely are. The truth is, Titan Shard Legacy started because we got tired of seeing butchered classic restorations and half-baked performance builds around Vancouver.

Started in a cramped two-bay shop with more ambition than square footage, we've grown into something we're genuinely proud of. We've rebuilt engines that other shops said were toast, brought classics back from the dead that owners had given up on, and squeezed horsepower out of motors that supposedly had nothing left to give.

These days, we've got the space, the tools, and the crew to handle just about anything that rolls through our doors. Whether you're bringing in a '67 Mustang that's been sitting in a barn for twenty years or a daily driver that needs some serious wake-up juice, we've probably tackled something similar before.

We don't do cookie-cutter work. Every car's different, every owner's got their own vision, and that's what keeps this job interesting.

Meet The Crew

The folks who actually do the work

Marcus Chen

Marcus Chen

Lead Technician & Co-Founder

18 Years Experience

Marcus is the guy who can diagnose an engine problem just by listening to it idle. Started wrenching on his dad's old Datsun when he was 14 and never looked back. Got his Red Seal certification and worked at a few dealerships before realizing that production-line work wasn't his thing. These days, he's the one tackling our most complex engine builds and training up the newer techs.

Sarah DeMarco

Sarah DeMarco

Classic Restoration Specialist

15 Years Experience

Sarah's got an eye for detail that borders on obsessive - which is exactly what you want when someone's restoring your vintage ride. She spent years doing bodywork and paint before getting into full restorations. If you've got a classic that needs to be brought back to factory spec or better, she's the one mapping out every step. Don't let her hear you suggest cutting corners on a restoration unless you want a lecture.

Devon Wright

Devon Wright

Performance Tuning Lead

12 Years Experience

Devon's the numbers guy who lives and breathes dyno charts. He came up through the import tuning scene and knows ECU mapping like the back of his hand. Whether you're running a naturally aspirated build or going full turbo, he's gonna squeeze every bit of power out while keeping things reliable. He's also weirdly good at fabricating custom intake manifolds when off-the-shelf stuff won't cut it.

Jake Morrison

Jake Morrison

Transmission & Drivetrain Tech

10 Years Experience

Jake's our transmission whisperer. Started out doing basic clutch jobs and rebuilds, but quickly became the go-to guy for anything involving gears and driveshafts. He's rebuilt everything from old Muncie 4-speeds to modern dual-clutch setups. If your tranny's slipping, grinding, or just acting weird, Jake's gonna figure it out. Also handles all our differential work and can set up a limited-slip in his sleep.

Priya Khatri

Priya Khatri

Electrical & Diagnostics

8 Years Experience

Priya's the one we call when there's a weird electrical gremlin that's stumping everyone else. She's got a background in electronics engineering and decided cars were more interesting than circuit boards. Handles all our complex diagnostic work, wiring harness repairs, and custom electrical setups. If you're adding aftermarket gauges or a standalone ECU, she's making sure it's wired properly and won't burn down.

Tommy Nguyen

Tommy Nguyen

Apprentice Technician

3 Years Experience

Tommy's our newest crew member and he's soaking up knowledge like a sponge. Currently working through his apprenticeship and showing a lot of promise, especially with brake systems and suspension work. Still learning the ropes on the more complex stuff, but he's got good instincts and isn't afraid to ask questions when he's not sure about something. Give him a few more years and he'll be running circles around most techs.

What We're About

Here's the deal - we're not the cheapest shop in Vancouver, and we're not trying to be. Fast, cheap, or good... pick two. We're shooting for fast and good, which means we charge fairly for quality work.

We'll give you straight answers about what your car needs and what it doesn't. If something can wait, we'll tell you. If we think another shop might be better suited for your particular job, we'll point you in the right direction. Life's too short for BS.

Most of our business comes from word-of-mouth and repeat customers, which tells you something. When you drop off your ride here, you're not just another invoice number. We're gonna treat it like it matters, because to you, it does.
